不知道AHD网站这几年有没有更新。

最新就是第5版。2018版是第5版修订版。

按：第5版删掉了第4版的一些东西。所以得先知道各版有何差异，看你是否需要旧版。

ahd 官网的问题是爬取不到完整数据，比如 counter，IncludedRandomWords 这个文件只包含部份词头。最新版的完整数据只能从 app 那里拿，

反而在 the free dictionary.com上面的AHD5的內容是完整無缺的，，可以查到完整的counter的三個釋義，而且還有完整的印歐語辭典「Pokorny」可以一起查。Counter - definition of counter by The Free Dictionary
eatingfishes 的 ahd5的也能查到counter的完整三個釋義，反而像你説的AHD官網就跟klwo2的版本一樣只有counter 第二個釋義。

确实AHD5的本站词典及官网，只看到第2个释义，而在freedictionary.com可以看到完整的3个释义。
感谢，是的。AHD5 2017 Mdx只有释义2，The American Heritage Dictionary of the English Language, Fifth Edition MDX则3个释义全有。

感觉这是官网词头的问题，需要靠人工修正词头的跳转规则（比如合并counter和counter%27s）,或者更换数据源来解决。
毕竟词条内容本身是有的，只是放在了跟检索直觉不符的其他词头下面。
