《ABC汉英》有些词条是抄《汉英大词典》的。有些改了《汉英大词典》的错误，有些没改。
《汉英大词典》是中国三大汉英大词典中最大的，但是偏于科技词条。《新世纪汉英》更实用。

Thanks a lot. I do use “新世纪汉英大词典” - it’s great, but it doesn’t have part of speech information (it really helps sometimes), so I can’t switch to using only it. But using these two dictionaries together looks like a good option.

I tried to re-download from the post. It works and unpacks Ok. Possibly, you should use the latest 7z unarchiver?

You can check if the file is somehow corrupted on the way.
Thank you for your reply. I used IDM to download it before. Maybe there is something wrong with the download, but there is no problem after direct download. But why did I find the entries displayed differently from what you provided?

If the “mdd” file with the js script is there, it could be that you have an older version of Goldendict, and that version does not fully support dynamic html / css3 used there.
For me, it works on latest dicttango and the following Goldendict:
P.S. And check if you have only mdx, mdd and jpg files in the folder. It all these files are present (and no other files), and the button still doesn’t show - it should be an older version of GoldenDict.
By the way, does it work for you with dicttango?
Yes, my previous version was a bit old, and now I’ve switched to the latest version, but it still seems to be missing some definitions.
So is it possible that you uploaded a different version than the screenshot you provided?
Hm, checked once again - uploaded files appears to be good.
Newest files are:

But. It does currently show Ok in the Goldendict-NG I’ve mentioned earlier. But in the Goldendict 1.5.0-RC2-499 the latest entry (with four meanings) indeed is missing. And also in the latest dicttango (!).
Why it is so, I don’t know, since it is in the source file. Maybe something with the index.

Ok, I’ve got it. For some reasons there were a “zero-width non-breaking space” inside, and it breaks some dictionaries. Will fix.

I found out that this dictionary is actually available on this Russian-Chinese dictionary website: 啊 (bkrs.info)
It looks like “啊” was the only word affected by this case (non-breaking zero width symbol). Anyway, here is the updated version with this entry.
