I have found out that it could be based on the monolingual dictionary title “Oxford Student’s Dictionary”.
I think you use windows, but it is shown on android MDict and DictTango. Other not checked.
Try one more time (download and update) please. I used it in my Android phone and see it’s ok now. What’s more the phrases are put in ( ) token so you can easily key in (ignore the parentheses) the phrases.

They have a word/phrase/sentence database and the explanations/example sentences are almost the same in many Oxford dictionaries.
nice to know, which could also mean, matching and producing multilingual dictionaries by programming is somehow realistic!
I scanned and ocr-ed one or two Oxford paperback dictionaries. The items needed to be examined word by word. So I was familiar with their way of making a dictionary.
I think picture version of any dictionary is not suitable for android. Maybe it will fine in PC.
It depends how to arrange the text and pictures. A man who does perfect jobs will make it perfect for reading.

If the dictionary contains pictures, the maker would manage to put the pictures into the dictionary. But not into the mdx file. Into another file: mdd. If you see a mdd file with the same filename of the mdx, you need to download both, else the pictures will not show. Maybe you knew this – just in case you did not know.
I thought you want to take a picture of paper version then make it into MDict dictionary. Like Macmillan Students dictionary, made by someone on pdawki.
It is better to attach dictionary’s pictures with MDX dictionary like smart vocabulary dictionary.
