其实这就是在说 distinct 和 distinctive 的区别，AHD 讲得很清楚：
distinct：（就是最直白的）某物是显眼的、易于区分的（相对于其他物）
distinctive：比 distinct 描述更细致，某物的某个特征是显眼的、 易于区分的（所以一般distinctive修辞的也是那个特征）
这样看来，陈用仪仍旧不够清晰。distinct和distinctive都是对比性的形容词。对外的区别分为两种层面：一种是同一类事物之中的彼此区别（distinct），另一种是不同种类之间的区别（distinctive）。 也就是说，distinctive更着重概念层面。
尝试区分如下：
clear moral claims 清晰的道德主张（这些道德主张自身的清晰性）
distinct moral claims 截然不同的道德主张（主要是这些道德主张内部彼此有鲜明的区别，而不是区别于其他道德主张）
distinctive moral claims 独特的道德主张 （这些道德主张区别于其他道德主张，而这种道德主张能作为辨识标志）
distinctly moral claims 道德色彩十分鲜明的主张 （是道德主张并且相比于其他（道德！）主张道德立场更为明显，对比的范围仍旧是在道德主张之内，并且是实际范围内的区别: they are moral claims rather than non-moral ones）
distinctively moral claims 独具道德属性的主张（这些主张区别于其他（非道德！）地方在于其道德属性），these claims are distinctive in being moral）。重点在于道德属性这个概念层次，而道德色彩实际上鲜明与否则是其次的问题。
