FreeMdict
Where user can get dictionaries for free.
This was my first impression when @Arlin first invited me.
Before that, I was an casual member at some site. User published their dictionaries there. There was a currency system. User would earn currency and in order to exchange for dictionaries.
When i got here i shared my share of dictionaries i collected over time.
Then i first thing which caught my eyes here was @karx work.
He/She published OALD online version. To me it was a pleasant delight. I downloaded the dictionray and started using right away. And a few other dictionaries as well. I always wished to learn dictionary making just like Karx
Then due to some personal issues, i could not caught up and visit site regularly.
Meanwhile i indulged in learning Python and some other languages randomly. Then i come across HTML, JS, and CSS. That is when i realized the science behind MDX/MDD format.
Some months back i started working on my own dictionary. I reopen freemdict site. And publish my work here. It was appeciated. It gave me further inspiration to create more. I kind of wish to have my own dictionaries after realizing how code can be manipulate for harmful purpose.
So, now to main topic. I create dictionaries out of my leisure activity and learning purpose. I have sucessfully published two on my own. Some friends like @cdmaer, @xuhuaq, @hua
help me with various issues and i added that to my knowledge. This gave me further morale booster to create more.
So, i plan to create some more dicitonaries regardless.
I wil maintain them and update them whenever i can. Once a year. Once every two year or when feasible.
Bandwidth limit is my nemesis. I can use only a certain amount data every month. I am using GPON so speed is never and issue. Only data cap is.
Those freinds who have messaged me and requested to make certain work, YES. I will work on that from time to time.
And lastly, I am a linguist (who teach about human languages) by profession. And i teach post-graduate level. Also, i have a family to look after. So, my time is kinda limited that i dedicated to coding and dictionary making. So, taking that into account. I will update dictionries whenever possile.
Lastly I will never ask for anything in return like donations and stuff.

for any malicious code/ behavior. Since those dictionaries were collected not from FreeMdict so i cannot vouch for their authenticity.
