Merriam Webster website added simple definition option to their dictionary

mw把卖给大英百科的学习词典买回来了么，挺好，ab测试我看不到楼主图里的东西

The way i see it, it hides parts of speech which not used commonly. Hides archiac / obsolete definition. Good for beginners. But for linguists and advanced learners, all the definitions matters.
Still it is pretty much doable and function impelement in the html files.
Finally managed to do it. It is like having merriam webster classic + advanced learn switched between the two versions with pulling the toggle.
