词典里的英文缩写ep.有什么约定俗成的用法吗？

Lessing的蒙英词典里不少词例都有ep.，但是词典的缩略语表中没有这一项，前言当中也没有解释。一般是用在英文释义后面，然后接"ep. of 蒙古文 （有时有英文）"。（下面的例子遵循这里的颜色示意）

比如，词条aqui sitUgen，ep. 后面只有蒙古文。Steadfast, elder, ep. of the daisun i daryusan.

词条arsalan daGun (i) daGurisqaGci，ep. 后面有蒙古文和英文。 Lion-voiced, ep. of Nidyber yzegci and other divine persons.

查了一下ep.这个缩写，也没发现有什么合适的含义。有人知道ep.的用法吗？

可能不是，缩略语表里有esp. 表示especially

不是 especially，是 epithet

原书句子：

ep. 不等于 esp.
