如果是非专业人士，我怀疑收集这些辞典/词典的意义有多大，读个词条真能看懂真正的含义吗？如果是专业人士，也许不需要这些词典，你会有很多书来详细解释、推导、演示各种概念的意义和用法，或者有更优秀的英文书籍、辞典。 像地质学，可以读Edward J. Tarbuck 等的《Earth Science》；生物学，最佳的入门书是Peter Raven 等写的《Biology》，正处在瘟疫期，如果对病毒感兴趣，没有比Brock的《微生物生物学》更好的选择了。两本生物学的书都有汉译本。 ---

我就是非专业的数学爱好者，这些词典对我帮助很大。 可能对于数学专业人士来说，直接在网站上搜索词条就可以解决问题了，但对我这种非专业人员而言，由于缺少扎实的基础知识，直接看个别词条反而会引发更多的疑惑，因为用来解释词条的内容中经常又会出现其他我不明白的术语。但查阅专业词典就不会有这种问题，首先词条写得本身就比较通俗易懂，其次如果有不理解的地方，大多数时候只要直接读一读前面的词条就可以了。比起在网上搜索，查词典效率要高得多。 ---
