《汉语方言学大词典》入选国家两项重大基金，即国家出版基金项目、国家社科基金项目。本词典涵盖汉语方言学科的方方面面，简明描述了全国各地的主要汉语方言，系统展示了汉语方言学研究成果。全书465万字，分为上、下两卷。两卷相得益彰，构成了一个有机整体。 上卷部分以条目的形式呈现，包括人物条、著作条、方言条、术语条等，合计近3000个条目。设有条目分类目录、条目音序目录和条目汉字笔画索引。条目音序目录根据条目标题首字的汉语拼音字母次序排列；条目汉字笔画索引按条目第一字的笔画由少到多排列，笔画相同的按起笔笔形的顺序进行排列；条目分类目录体现条目的性质和层次关系，同时反映出本词典所涵盖的方言与方言学科知识，读者可根据条目类别进行检索。 ---
