# Using GitHub for the first time. Need guidance

Just a quick query as the title suggests.  
Need guidance to put my app on GitHub. The question is, can i simply put apk file without sharing its code source?

I mean. Is it possible? Does github allows user to put the apk file without source code.  
Like my source code stays private and app is published and made available to public?

No one polices this, and many do it. Ethical issues only arise if it goes viral.
