樓主，你好。我是7月26號左右下載的所有文件，今天上來發現有新的更新，請問在詞典的釋義、發音上有什麽大的變化嗎？還是詞典的使用方法有大的變化？因爲我下載之後自己用AI花了好幾個小時修改了字體等地方，不同設備的修改還有點不一樣，有點猶豫是否要更新最新的版本。
修正释义数量大概在100条上下，如果能接受就不必更新。

nonprofit这个词条选择了删除该词条并重定向到not-for-profit的形式，nonprofit的音标也在not-for-profit页面进行补充
还有一些额外的修复，比如actor词条第三个释义，以及accused搜不出来名词释义的问题。

I translated settings interfaces to English for ease of use, I plan to send English JS and CSS if useful to anyone tinkering with configuration toggles in app, but I didn’t touch anything else and even with original Chinese written settings it’s the same problem, so I know it’s not because of me that these differences are here. So I’m just curious what happened. Is maybe TTS for those An example sentence… gone from new version mdd? And what happened with syllable division? Thank you

Regarding your two observations between OALDPE 2024‑09 and OALDPEX:
- TTS not working for sentences in the HELP section
The offline TTS package only generated audio for main dictionary entries; audio assets for text inside the HELP section were omitted. Due to technical limitations, we can only use either fully offline TTS or fully online TTS globally. There is no implementation to detect missing offline audio resources and fall back automatically to online TTS. The relevant pronunciation options in settings will be removed in later releases. - Change in syllable division
Syllable division in the older OALDPE was sourced from vocabulary.com, which provided genuine phonetic syllable splitting.
OALDPEX follows the marking convention of the printed Oxford Advanced Learner’s Dictionary. According to an official reply from Oxford University Press, the middle dot·in print‑edition headwords is a line‑break hyphenation marker for typography, not a syllable divider. It only indicates where a word may be split across two lines, even though it may occasionally coincide with real syllable boundaries. Therefore OALDPEX no longer offers phonetic syllable division and only retains typographic word‑break separation.
我用的ios欧路词典，boundary是有重音符号的。
