I am planing to wait it out. I have delayed my data collection after this news. So, maybe after 6-8 months, i will scrap / crawl and collect data from OALD. I guess it is safe time window to assume that this word too will be added to the online dictionray. I hope they get their target revenue asap since India is a huge country and people love to speak and learn English. And it is their official language as well. So, finger-crossed. Hope for the best. And lets wait it out

Lets start making oald11 in mdd/Stardict /Mobi format.
Things are getting weird. It seems that even after about half a year, OALD11 remains available in selected markets only (Africa, India and Germany as far as I know). Additionally, the main OUP website (as opposed to the East African or other regional sites) has never mentioned this new edition of their flagship learner’s dictionary.
Moreover, Amazon buyers have reported that copies printed in India are unexpectedly small in size and use low-quality paper. For those eager to get OALD11 as soon as possible, the German edition (ISBN 9780194095273) might be a better choice.
I’m beginning to wonder if OALD11 was produced by local book distributors in collaboration with OUP’s regional branches, much like LDOCE7, and we may never see a global release of it.
