11.1) highest确实有最高的意思，但是“最高的人子”是啥意思？某些人乍一看，还以为“人子”“个子”最高呢。原文当然是没这个意思，而是说“地位最高”。 11.2) “人子”如何对应“manhood”？ manhood恐怕表示“人类”。有人可能会说字典上最多说了“manhood, men collectively”；the adult male members of a population, nation, or the like. 仅仅说manhood表示“男人的总称”，没说人类。但是，前文刚出现human与divince的对比，后面就更加细致地说到human之下的男人，这种转换似乎没有逻辑。所以，我认为作者虽然用了表示男人总称的manhood，实际还是想表达human这个意思。
“评论家”恐怕根本不清楚context里的“Manhood”指的是什么（不知道的可以在OED里查），也不知道“Son of Man”是什么意思，就在那儿胡诌。
