实事求是而已。GD-ng已经很好用，而且得到并不困难，真没必要再弄新词典！

the more programs the better.
we can’t let mdict readers become a monopoly.
preservation of the mdict format isnt “depending on a single software”.
people who were using the previous mdict reader before GD-ng came out would say the same.
i’m also working in another mdict reader , and im happy to see that people already wrote a alternative to DictTango in dart!

as always, you always write some really good advices~
and i agree with you, mdict is really hard to work with, but since mdict-cpp already got into a mature state, people can create bindings to other languages to use mdict-cpp from them, like i did here:
this helps people focus more on the interface part and abstracts the usage of mdict-parsing
