Many words have two or more homographs, these homographs treated as a separate entry in the online version different to this dictionary.
some words have been removed from this dictionary.For example look up the word “lockdown”.It is not in the dictionary but it is in the online dictionary and also in other versions of the dictionary.
Also look up these words “snick-a-snee” and “snick-or-snee” and “swine’s-cress” in the dictionary.You can’t find these words in the dictionary although they are in the dictionary.There must be only one short hyphen (-) between the words,but there are long hyphens (–) between the words.So it is impossible to find these words in the dictionary.Test it yourself to see the problem.You should replace long hyphens with short hyphens in the headwords to solve this problem.

How can I get the wordlists (just the entries) of online dictionaries?
No available wordlist. Python programming skills are required if you want to get the wordlist by yourself, and the online version is a subscriber-only content, so you also need a paid account.
