Not really. GoldenDict NG has many disadvantages, for example, the huge database of dictionary indexes, which is not automatically deleted after updating a dictionary. Thus, in a few days I accumulate 3-4 gigabytes of indexed content (due to the review of various dictionaries for the server) and I have to clean it manually. It has problems with encodings, you personally know. On RuBoard users also reports numerous other issues such as program hangs/crashes, random restarts or closings, etc. by NG. In case of change to a higher QT build is necessary a re-indexing of all dictionaries. But the classic version causes even more problems, as seen by the posts here. There are no perfect programs, even more it works relatively smoothly for me…
