# 【大事】Pdawiki宣布将关闭涉版权部分板块

我这里无所谓墙，但我能体会需要翻墙的困扰。

要翻墙，需要额外的成本啊，还可能有心理负担。谁说人人能翻，爱翻就翻呢？

我知道有书友有技术，但听到要翻墙就觉得为难。

我知道有用户是新疆上来的，为那里的孩子找一些免费的学习材料，一听到要翻墙就担心犯法。

有用户虽然上来这里，但觉得用mdict这个东西，学习成本、时间成本太高，就干脆放弃了。

边远地区的人可能没办法啊。免费的学习工具不是垂手可得的。

我觉得[站长自掏腰包做这个站](https://forum.freemdict.com/t/topic/18382/8)，像在做公益。

惠及了边远地区的贫困学生，不是公益吗？那里也许可以上网，但上网费用可能成为问题。各种mdict词库放在手机里，就成为不必上网也能用的资料库。

你这个建议，可能刚好会把最需要帮助的人拒之门外。
