查了查字典似乎翻成 塑造 与另三个动词比较配。

fashion，源自拉丁文factio(n)，fac是做、ion是名词，这个单词动词的意思就是制作或者(手工)创作。例如:Lengths of bone fashioned into flutes were in use 40,000 years ago.其中fashioned into flutes 就是制作成笛子。refashion，就是重制、再制。时尚、潮流反而更像是引申义。

fashion翻追求时尚应该是翻译的人想直接名词动词化。可是，从整个情境逻辑来看，退一步说，也要翻成创造时尚，比较合逻辑。
