理解不了你为什么连续发三个帖子问一个帖子就行的问题。 unabridged跟online四合一版不是一个东西。前者类似oxford english dictionary，后者包含大学、儿童、法律、医学。 简单来说这两个字典不是给小白用的，小白用基本是自讨苦吃。 四合一的不同版本只能说在个别词汇的定义上有差别，我用的是2020版，没有看到什么动静。其余的版本我不用除了对一些新增释义有意见外，更多的是没有必要。用新老版本对普通学习者没有区别。 你这样一天提五六个问题，而且都是自己能通过查询解答的问题，是很懒惰的行为，希望你珍惜别人的时间，动手自己查下。以后你再问我是不会回答的。 ---

抱歉啊，主要是MW太零散了，科普的那个帖子我也看过，但有很多细节的东西（譬如你提到的WOKE影响）只能边看边查查不到就只能问了。 ---
